"Location, location, location:" the importance of this real-estate mantra is something that the Museum of Contemporary Art, Cleveland (MOCA) knows all too well. For over 10 years, the museum has been planning to build a permanent home for its artwork, which will enable it to move out of its leased headquarters on Carnegie Avenue currently shared with the Cleveland Playhouse.

When Apple unveiled the iPad early in 2010, the internet buzz began instantly. Apple fans quickly declared the tablet to be the future of portable computers. Many wrote the device off altogether, mocking the name and claiming it was nothing more than "a giant iPhone.

Last Exorcism thrills but no chills

"The Last Exorcism" is like the scary movie equivalent of "The Magic School Bus." Just as the students do not expect to go to school and enter a fellow student's bloodstream as a field trip, trailers for "The Last Exorcism" were just as incredibly misleading.

Boy meets girl. Boy and girl begin dating. Boy must defeat girl's seven evil exes to continue dating girl. "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World" is definitely not a typical love story.

The film, based on a series of graphic novels written by Bryan Lee O'Malley, centers around Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) a loveable, but somewhat inept, 23-year-old living in Toronto, Canada.

In the same song from which I pulled this column's name, Stephen Malkmus sings, "You can never quarantine the past." This holds true for all the *NSYNC and Britney Spears you used to listen to and might currently pretend don't exist. I learned that such notions were follies, and to explain how I got there, it may be best to explain the awkward things I grew up listening to.

They say that college is the best four years of a person's life, but when exactly does that start? With the jam-packed weekend of welcome, Monday seemed like the only day to really take the idea of college in.

Highly anticipated summer albums worth the wait for fans

One thing that I absolutely love about summer time, in addition to going to the beach and riding extremely fast roller coasters, is the sheer amount of new albums released and concerts performed at this time of year. Just as every other year, there are new albums that are good, bad, and just plain ugly.

American cinema is dead. Am I qualified to make this statement? Probably not.

Summer is often known for its great crowd-pleasers. What did we have this summer? "Toy Story 3." Should the third installment in a Disney franchise have been the best film of the summer? Probably not.
